Moving elements

1. Moving of shadows

Depending on the position of the sun, the shadows from the frame structure varies with sunlight, creating different tones to the architecture.

2. Elevators

A elevator within a mostly glass tube connects level 1&2, providing different angle of view to the overall architecture.

ARCH1101 Blog

I made this grandfather clock for my HSC industrial technology (woodwork) major project. I built all the wood components in this and it took me 9 months to complete, where I spent about 300 hours in the workshop working on it.

The Piano House
Just as the name suggests, this is a giant piano and violin shaped building located in Huainan, China. It is built with a scale of 50:1 and has been described as "the most romantic building in China".

This is a photo I took a few years back of the clouds formed just moments before a massive hail storm.
